Payment information

These payment terms apply to all bookings for retreats organised by La Maronniere. By making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. Accepted Currencies

Guests can pay in:

  • Pounds Sterling (GBP)

  • Euros (EUR)

  • US Dollars (USD)

 

2. Payment Method

  • All payments are made via our Wise account, which allows fast, secure, and low-fee international transfers.

  • Payment instructions, including account name, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, and your booking reference, will be provided after you confirm your booking.

  • Please include your booking reference with all transfers to ensure we can correctly identify your payment.

 

3. Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30 % is required to secure your place.

  • Balance: The remaining balance must be received 8 weeks before the retreat start date.

  • Bookings may be cancelled if the balance is not received on time, and deposits will be forfeited.

 

4. Currency Conversion & Fees

  • Payments made in a different currency than the retreat pricing will be converted by Wise at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of transfer.

  • Any transfer or bank fees are the responsibility of the guest.

 

5. Confirmation of Payment

  • Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit in full and verify the payment in our Wise account.

  • You will receive a confirmation email once the deposit is received.

 

6. Refunds & Cancellations / Remboursements & annulations


All payments made for a retreat are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. However, we will make every effort to offer your place to someone else on our registered interest list. If we are able to re-sell your place, any payment received may be partially refunded at our discretion.

  • Deposit: Non-refundable.

  • Balance: Refundable only if cancellation occurs more than 8 weeks before the retreat and the place is re-sold.

  • Late cancellation: Balance is non-refundable.

  • Cancellation by us: Full refund or transfer option.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

 

7. Responsibility & Liability

  • Guests are responsible for ensuring their payment reaches us in full.

  • La Maronniere is not liable for delays or issues caused by banks or Wise.

  • Participation in retreats is at your own risk; travel, health, and personal expenses are your responsibility.
