The retreat takes place in a beautiful French Farmhouse set in 1.5 hectares of land, with a large 10 x 5 metre pool. The perfect place to calm the mind and learn to be more present, more content.
Set in stunning natural surroundings, our retreat centre is in a National forest, 4 hours from Barcelona and 1.5 hours from Toulouse. We will be offering mindful Yoga twice daily suitable for everyone, as well Mindfulness sessions were you will have an opportunity to try different meditations, explore what stress is, why we have it and how we can work with it. You’ll be guided by experienced teachers in a friendly and supportive group environment.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided (vegetarian), as well as healthy, tasty snacks throughout the day. Teas, juices and water are available at all times. We believe good eating is an important aspect of any retreat and we make every effort to create delicious, healthy and balanced meals. Please contact us if you have any special dietary requirements.
Mindfulness can help you with stress, anxiety and depression. Mindfulness is about waking up to what is happening in the present moment and learning to be less reactive.
Training the mind to be more focused allows you to be more at peace with whatever life brings. Over 30 years of medical research confirms mindful meditation can help you make positive changes in your life.
In this retreat our sessions will be based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. MBSR was designed to help participants learn new ways of handling difficult feelings, moods and physical discomfort.
During the week you will be provided with:
- guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices;
- gentle stretching and mindful movement, including yoga;
- group dialogue and mindful communication exercises to enhance awareness in everyday life;
-a workbook with practice materials and follow-up reading, including the neuroscience behind mindfulness.

The yoga offered on this retreat will allow you to deeply rest, the body to undo, and restore through an approach to posture where we take great care to listen to the body. Based on Scaravelli Yoga, all levels with and without previous experience of yoga are welcome.
We will be offering optional guided walks in the spectacular countryside.
TIMINGS: We offer two yoga sessions daily, as well as group work looking at Mindfulness practices. We also aim to give you time to just relax, swim, read, walk and just be. One day "off" will include a visit to the local French Food market, and a guided walk to see the wonderful views nearby.

Mindfulness 11-1.30pm (with a break)
Yoga and Mindfulness session 5-7pm
ACCOMMODATION: We offer twin and triple bed rooms for 6 nights accommodation.
TREATMENTS: Julie will also be offering biodynamic cranio sacral treatments. A body/mind therapy inviting patterning and conditions in body and mind to heal through a gentle touch that allows the deeper subtle systems of the body to balance and reharmonise. Ideal for stress, trauma and to find deep relaxation.
Price: 580 € (accommodation, meals and all the mindful meditation & yoga activities).

However we do offer a free pick up from the nearest town Foix in the afternoon on the first day and we also drop people back after breakfast on the last day.

**Please do not make travel arrangements until we have confirmed the retreat. We need a minimum number for the retreat to run.
The balance should be paid one month in advance of the start of the course. We are unable to offer a refund if cancellation takes places less than 3 weeks from the beginning of the course.
Please note this is a family-run retreat so our 4 year old son will be here. He's very charming!

Emma Reynolds- Mindfulness Teacher
Emma is an accredited Mindfulness teacher, trained in both MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and Mindfulness for primary children. She teaches the full 8 week MBSR course, as well as one-to-one. Emma feels passionately that each one of us has the ability to change or discard unhelpful learned ways of being and allow the best of you to shine. With this in mind she has created an open, safe and supportive environment to allow learning and sharing to flourish. Julie Tucker- Yoga Teacher
Julie has been teaching yoga since 2007 mostly to small groups, one to one, in retreats and workshops. She is inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli and her work as a biodynamic cranio sacral practitioner. She offers yoga as a place to come back to the heart, a letting go of the mechanics of posture and encouraging deep listening. A space of allowing that frees the breath, awakens the spine, reconnects us to the ground. Finding deeper levels of awareness where the body can open, freedom of movement express itself and our inherent health, vitality and wholeness rekindles itself.
